The Diamond Gamer Starcraft 2 add-on has created quite a stir in the gaming community. Players want to know.. What exactly is it and can it really help me win more games in Starcraft 2? I created this Diamond Gamer review to help answer these questions.

Diamond Gamer Review - What is it?

The Diamond Gamer guide is an "add-on" for Starcraft 2. It is a piece of software that you can use that actually runs inside the game. The add-on then functions as an in-game guide, complete with build orders, strategies, and unit counters that you can then reference in game.

How does Diamond Gamer work?

When you enter a game of Starcraft 2, Diamond Gamer will display a menu with strategies related to your current match-up. For example, when you enter a match as a Protoss player, with the click of a button you can pull up the relevant Protoss build orders and strategies.

When you open up the menu of build orders, a customizable screen will appear with top-notch openings the pros use that you can then copy for yourself. For example, you can click the "4-Gate" button and you are then presented with the fastest build order possible for this popular strategy.

Once you pull up a strategy, you are then able to quickly and efficiently able to reference this build order to make sure you are getting your units out as fast as possible. My initial impressions I came to during this Diamond Gamer review indicate that this add-on is a really clever product and can be a useful tool.

Is Diamond Gamer Right for Me?

During my Diamond Gamer review. I have found that Diamond Gamer is a great add-on but is geared towards lower-ranked players. If you are currently ranked in the Bronze or Silver leagues, then I strongly recommend getting Diamond Gamer as this tool will significantly improve speed at which you learn the best build orders and strategies.

I would go as far to say that I would be shocked if you were ranked in the Bronze or Silver league and failed to increase your rank after picking up Diamond Gamer. Using the add-on will rapidly speed up the rate at which you learn new build orders and top strategies and give you an immense advantage over your opponents.

For high-ranked players, the Diamond Gamer software is not appropriate. If you are already in the Diamond or Platinum leagues, this add-on is not likely to provide a significant advantage.

Once you are at this level, matches are moving too quickly to pay attention to the software, which tends to be a distraction if you already are highly ranked. With that said, it can be a lot of fun to use the cheese build orders, especially in team games!

Players in the Gold league will find themselves somewhere in the middle. The Diamond Gamer add-on is very likely to improve your level of play, but it will not be as game-changing as it is for Bronze and Silver players.

Diamond Gamer Review Conclusion

At the end of my Diamond player review, my recommendation depends on what you are currently ranked. If you are a Bronze or Silver player, this add-on is a must-have and is likely to boost your rankings significantly. If you are a Gold league player, it is likely to help you out as well and may push you into the Platinum league. However, if you are already in the Diamond league, this add-on is not for you.
