As you may have noticed, this list of the best Starcraft 2 guides does indeed change over time. While I used to think that as many as 5 guides had their own niche in Starcraft 2, here are the facts:

Starcraft 2 was released on July 27th, 2010. Since then, many patches have been added since release. Additionally, the meta-game (popular strategies of the day) evolves as players get better and better. If you want to stay on top of your Starcraft 2 Game, you will need up-to-date strategies.

As a result, many of the former best Starcraft 2 guides are no longer on this list. The guides on this list seem to have the most resources behind them - motivated, real gamers who invest a lot of time and energy into ensuring these guides stay regularly updated.

As a result, my list of best guides has dropped to 3. I feel that the Shokz Guide is the best overall guide for any player and is certainly the most detailed guide. Joana's Guide is another solid guide and is half the price of other Starcraft 2 guides. Finally, the Diamond Gamer add-on is perfect for a new player struggling to memorize build orders and perfect their game.

All three of these guides stand above the other strategy guides currently out in the marketplace.
